Rob was born on May 14,1989 in Amherst, New York to a very big family. He has a lot of siblings. This was a very "gifted" family. Four of them are professional athletes and the other brother is a freshmen at Kansas University.
He has 4 other brothers: Gordie JR., Dan, Chris, and Glenn. Gordie was drafted out of Jacksonville University as a pitcher to play for the LA Angels. Dan is currently a tight end for the Cleveland Browns; Dan graduated from Maryland and was drafted by the Detroit Lions in 2009. Chris is the starting full back for the Denver Broncos; he holds the high school lifting record. Finally, Glenn, he is a freshman at Kansas University and the youngest brother. Then you have Rob, the most famous out of these 5 brothers. Rob is an all-pro Tight End for the New England Patriots.
Rob Gronkowski attended Williamsville North High School near Buffalo, New York. As a junior he recorded 36 receptions for 648 yards and 7 touchdowns. On defense he had 73 tackles and 6 sacks. In 2006, he moved to Woodland Hills High School. As a senior he had 8 receptions for 152 yards and 4 touchdowns. That was in one game. He was named Super Prep All-American and many other titles in his Senior Year.
